Chuck Ricotta

 

Chuck Ricotta returns for his seventh year as Percussion Instructor and Arranger for the Michigan Marching Band. He received a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Michigan after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Penn State University where he was honored with the Performer's Recognition Award. He has previously served on the percussion staffs of the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps and the Penn State University Indoor Drumline. In addition to his work with the Michigan Marching Band, Chuck currently serves as the principal percussionist for the Flint Symphony Orchestra. In addition Chuck has performed with numerous orchestras including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Ann Arbor Symphony, and the New World Symphony. Chuck is an educational artist for Remo Drumheads and Innovative Percussion and maintains a private teaching studio in Ann Arbor.
