Andrew Putnam

 

Andrew Putnam is currently a Masters of Music student in Music Education at the University of Michigan. Prior to arriving in Michigan, he spent five years as the Director of Bands at Whitnall High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Mr. Putnam holds a Bachelors of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he studied trombone with Bill Richardson. In addition to his classroom teaching experiences, Mr. Putnam has been avidly involved as a designer, music arranger, and instructor for numerous marching bands and drum and bugle corps throughout the Midwest including the Glassmen, and Madison Scouts. He is a member of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association, MENC, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Professional Music Fraternity.
